Its Time to Decorate Give-away!!

Etsy Find of the Week

Ever since Dominic and I met, morning has been one of our favorite times of the day. The first person to get up, immediately goes to the kitchen to start making our morning espresso. Not only do we enjoy the aroma and flavour of fine espresso but it is our time to enjoy each other while we plan our day!! I bought Dominic this espresso mug for Valentines day and he absolutely loves it....and so do I!! 

Even though the gift wasn't for me,  I must say that it was so much fun to receive it in the mail, as it was pre-wrapped in the most amazing artistic manner and she even gave us this cute little spoon as an extra gift!! Such a great etsy experience!! Make sure to check out the rest of the clay products from Ippuko's Shop, especially this mug, as 50% of the proceeds will go towards Japans Disaster Relief!!!

Summer Memories

I feel like I have been away from the blog forever. In reality, we have just moved into a new apartment and we still don't have our internet connection hooked up!! I hope to have everything up and running by tomorrow!!

I love this print entitled, "Summer Memories" by Kristy Bee, who has a great collection of romantic and vintage inspired photography on her etsy shop!!! 

When we lived in Taiwan, we kept a fan similar to this one at the end of our bed to keep us cool at night. The fan was our saving grace - I don't think I could have stood the heat without it!! I can't wait to feel heat like that again!!

Modern Friendship Bracelets

I have noticed a growing trend of modern friendship bracelets this season. And while many of my friends have been wearing them for years, I think I am finally growing a liking and appreciation for them. They are not only a great gift idea to give to a friend but you can also buy one for yourself to remind you of a special event/occasion/trip. 

Dilly Dallis was giving these beautiful modern friendship bracelets away a few weeks ago.  And while I missed the give-away I thought they were so cute that I would share them with you!! They are handmade by Ayofemi Jewelry of Phoenix Texas and available on her Etsy store here. They come in a variety of colors but I think I like the eggplant or the orchid colors best. Paris in Fall...

I have been dreaming about what Paris would be like in the fall. I kinda think that these photos do my dream some justice and I thought you might like to see them too!! The warm colors in the photos make me want to book a flight to Paris so that I could drink a stong cup of coffee and smoke a French cigarette. You can buy these photos by Francoise Rachez on Etsy. Annabelle at Etsy

For the past few years I have gotten into a habit of falling in love with a specific chain and pendant and as a result I end up wearing it everyday. I usually become attached to it  and wear it until it breaks or I lose it. Well, this dilemma has recently come upon me as I lost my favorite Pyrrah pendant while I was out for my morning run and I have been missing it so. I have been trying to decide if I should buy another Pyrrah or just buy a different necklace all together. 


Nevertheless, I have been searching the web for a replacement peice and I came up with these lovely pieces at BrideBlu on etsy!! They are Aren't they pretty??

Roses are Red....and Sometimes Pink!!

Have you ever unknowingly been attracted to buying items of a certain color, flavour, pattern, etc only to realize that many of the items of you own are of this certain color, flavor or pattern. Well, this has recently happened to me as I have finally come to the realization that I love roses!! At first I thought that this was a recent love, but after pondering it a while, I realized I may have always loved roses  - I mean even my wedding flowers were roses - how could I have missed this love for roses??

So, you can imagine how I pleased I was when my lovely friend Jordan brought me a cute little pair of rose earrings from her vacation. They are great everyday earrings and they match many of my rose inspired outfits!!! Thanks again Jordan!!

She bought this pair of earrings on their trip down the West Coast but I found a variety of Etsy sights that you can buy some just like it.
