And they were all yellow!!

Yellow is the color evoked by light that stimulates both the L and M (long and medium wavelength) cone cells of the retina about equally.


There are some colors that, upon seeing, stimulate something in your brain that makes you feel wonderful - hence your favorite color. When I was young, I think that color was pink (I know....how cliche) - I am not sure why but it just made me feel good. Yellow on the other hand, has always been one of those colors that has never really inspired me. But lately, I have been finding myself so into yellow! I am not sure if I would call it my favorite color, but I am quite enjoying it for the moment!!

Etsy Find of the Week!

The walls in our apartment are still a little bare since we did not bring any art with us from Saskatchewan. As such, I have been dreaming of some wonderful art that I would love to hang on my walls. Here are a few examples, aren't they lovely and whimsical!!!  I am seriously considering buying the one with the feather, there is just something about that screams my name!!
