Home inspiration: a sweet swedish cottage

Last year, we bought a cute, little house on the prairie and ever since we have been renovating it. Since we are only here in the summer, my design inspiration was a Swedish Summer Cottage and so far I love how our renovations are turning out. We still have a long way to go, as we are doing everything ourselves but I promise I will post some updated photos soon. In the mean time, I love everything about this sweet little Swedish cottage featured on design haven. I hope someday that our little cottage has this cozy yet modern feeling!!

Mirror Mirror On The Wall

Since I will be heading back to our little Swedish/Saskatchewan abode in less than a few weeks, I am getting more and more excited to continue decorating our house. When we left the house in December, we were in the middle of renovations and only just started to decorate. This summer, my goal is to finish the renovations and continue the decorating process. 


Since we move around a lot and have actually never owned a place, it is so much fun to finally be able to create a space that is all our own. I have been loving this idea of a mirror collage for our living room. Although, the only problem is that it may take a while to collect enough fabulous vintage mirrors to mae a collage. Nevertheless, I will see what the vintage stores in Saskatchewan have to offer this summer!! In the mean time check out these great mirror collages!!
